Weaving Looms and Equipment

Paula's Purple Poles

If you have a problem placing your warping board, these poles are the purrfect solution! You simply lean the poles against the wall and hang your warping board with the ties that are included. When you are done winding your warp, the poles can be stored out of the way, and you don't have any holes in your walls from nails or other methods of attaching the board to the wall. The poles also allow you to either travel with your warping board to classes, or out onto the porch to wind your warp. We started staining our poles with purple stain so that no one would use the lumber for other uses around the house; however, we know that not everyone has someone who will make off with their boards, so we have the poles available in both Natural and Purple Stain. Both are coated with a top coat of polycrylic for durability.

Warp Guard
This is a sheet of corrugated cardboard to put into your warp as you wind on. It keeps the warp snugly seperated while providing a smooth base for your warp as it winds around your back beam. It comes in a three yard piece. Either use it that way, or divide it into 3 equal pieces and number them accordingly so when they come off, you know how much warp you have left on your loom.
